Table to Table Newsletter Summer, 2006

Greetings,

Summer can never arrive too soon. Just ask any student or teacher you know. Table to Table's trucks can't arrive too soon either. Ask any hungry person being served fresh and nutritious food that has just been delivered by a Table to Table driver. In this issue, we will tell you how the record-breaking proceeds of this year's Chefs Gala and Great Grill & Pig Out will provide the funds necessary to meet Table to Table's operating expenses for the year and keep our trucks arriving on time. We thank our generous supporters for making this possible.

As part of its recent 30th anniversary celebration, the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE), known as Peter Kump's New York Cooking School until 2001, established an Alumni Hall of Achievement, with an inaugural inductee class of 50 accomplished alumni. Inductees were chosen based on their achievements and dedication to the food industry, and Table to Table takes great pride in announcing that its very own President and founder, Claire Insalata Poulos, was selected to be a member of this distinguished inaugural group.

BC The Magazine ran a feature article in its March/April 2006 issue about Table to Table, tracing the history of the organization, as well as its current activities and plans for the future. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about why and how we do what we do.
