Greetings,
In this issue, Table to Table is proud to announce the
record-breaking success of its spring fundraising events, which
brought in more than $300,000. At a delivery cost of only 11 cents
per meal, this money will go far in the fight against the growing
problem of hunger in our community.
We would like to thank everyone involved for their generous
contributions, including guests who attended, chefs who regaled us
with exquisite cuisine, participants in the auctions (both donors
and purchasers), and our many dedicated volunteers who worked for
months to plan and execute these events.
If you were unable to attend this year, please consider joining
us in 2006. Also, be on the lookout for other exciting events being
planned in the future.

| Donor Focus: Beyond Juice |
 |
Owner Peter Hosek describes Beyond Juice in Englewood
as a "healthy food café catering to customers who watch what
they eat in terms of nutritional value and/or calories."
Beyond Juice opened a little more than a year ago in April,
2004, but Hosek sought out Table to Table even prior to
opening because of his strong conviction that no fresh food
should go to waste while there are hungry people who will
appreciate it. Hosek enjoys working with Table to Table, and
Table to Table appreciates and admires Beyond Juice's
commitment to helping those in need.

| Recipient Focus: Good Shepherd Mission -
Paterson |
 |
The Good Shepherd Mission is an alcohol and drug
rehabilitation center and shelter for homeless men. In
addition to ministering to more than 35 men enrolled in its
nine-month discipleship program (which boasts a recent
graduation rate of 95%), the Mission provides shelter,
clothing, food and counseling, as needed. An innovative "porch
ministry" allows neighbors to select what they need from food
placed daily on the Mission's porch. Table to Table is proud
to help supplement the "spiritual sustenance" provided by the
Mission with much-needed physical sustenance in the form of
fresh and nutritious food delivered regularly to the Mission.

Junior Woman's Club of Ridgewood
The Junior Woman's Club of Ridgewood once again selected
Table to Table as a recipient of a portion of the proceeds
from its 2005 fundraising efforts to benefit local charities.
This year's donation was designated by the Club to pay for
fuel costs for our vehicles for a four-month period. Tricia
Mueller, the Club's President and Charity Research
Chairperson, along with Treasurer Kelly Gioia presented the
check to Table to Table volunteer Barbara Borys at the Club's
annual meeting and luncheon in May.
Things are Cookin' at Whole Foods
What better way to begin a summer weekend than by enjoying
a deliciously grilled meal? Whole Foods (at 905 River Road in
Edgewater) is planning a grilling event to benefit Table to
Table (date to be determined shortly). Whole Foods chefs will
grill a special menu for outdoor dining at their spectacular
location overlooking the NYC skyline, or in the privacy of
your own home. All proceeds will be donated to Table to Table.
If you're interested in supporting this event while enjoying a
delicious dinner and helping to feed those who are less
fortunate, please call (201) 444-5500 or send an e-mail to
iisaacs@tabletotable.org.
